STALLIONS

Supreme Champion
Asgard Braveheart

(*Rosedale Fairy Prince x Asgard Britannia by Farnley Carillon)

1995 Section B Welsh stallion. Bay with 3 socks and a star, 13.1 1/2H. He is big bodied, with exceptional bone and a very long, hunter type stride. Braveheart is especially noted for his excellent temperament and trainability. He can be ridden English or Western in any company on loose rein and shows extreme talent for going over fences (5 foot tall ones!). Braveheart has had numerous show wins and championships in halter, pleasure, hunter over fences and trail class. However, the true mark of an exceptional stallion is that Braveheart passes on his temperament and his lovely way of going to his offspring, not to mention typiness and good conformation. He has sired several Supreme Champions-under British judges! His first foal
crop has performance champions as well, even at an early age.  At this time he has sired 100% color on pinto mares and has sired a high percentage of black foals.

Braveheart is a joy to have and to ride. He is my dear friend. I thank Valerie Lapicola for him.

On top of the world. My 2 trick pony & me!

"A horse and rider are inseparable. A horse would continue to be a horse if it had no rider, but without a horse a rider is nothing."

Rosedale Royal Flare
(Varndell Right Royal x Downland Flair by Downland Chevalier)

1980 Reg. Section B stallion. Palomino w/star, strip, snip & 4 stockings, 13.1+hh. Imported as a two year old by Pat Clay from the Rosedale Stud in Wales, *Rosedale Royal Flare has left his mark in the Section B scene in North America. Flare has been many times Supreme Champion, (winning his last two Supremes in 1999 at age nineteen), and has also been the sire of many Champion offspring. Not only are Flare's stock known for their correct conformation and Section B type; they also excel in many equine events including offspring on the A show circuit.

Flare as well has been shown for many years in performance, including competing for two years with a junior rider at the world renowned Spruce Meadows Battle of the Breeds. Not only has Flare been a serious competitor in under saddle and over fences, he has been ridden on 5 day trail rides, worked cattle and ridden in the mountains for years.

It is with a deep sense of loss that Pat and I and all Flare's fans had to say goodbye to him in the winter of 2004 due to an injury. The world of Welsh did lose a fine and noble creature in Flare, but his heart and spirit will live on in his progeny. And I give thanks to Pat Clay for sharing Flare with me and my ponies.
