Misty Mountain Enchantress |
Misty Mountain
Enchantress
(GlanNant Adonis x Westrum's Fantasia) 1994 Reg. Section B mare, 12.3H Grey Roan. Misty returns home to the place of her birth, in Montana. I met Misty when she was very young at Sheila Benson's farm and then we all moved on. I will never know what inspired me to look at the pedigree portion of a Dreamhorse ad where I saw Misty's name and I inquired about her whereabouts. Long story short, Misty was available and looking for a home that knew her value as a broodmare. I have one Adonis daughter and I have kept tabs on another two. They are truly foundation mares for a Section B breeder like me, consistently outproducing themselves. And these mares are none too shabby themselves! Misty Hind Shot Misty Head Shot

Mairlod
Croes Bronwen
(Gayfields Sweet Willie Wine x Circle of Stars) 1984 Reg. Half Welsh mare, 13.1H , Chestnut with long star, right hind pastern. Bronwen has joined us at Summit after being rescued from unfortunate circumstances. Bronwen has had a long and illustrious show career and has been highly successful as a producer of hunter type performance ponies. Bronwen is at least deserving of a dignified retirement even though she still has so much to offer in so many ways. Time will tell where it is best to put her considerable energy! Bronwen was bred by Stephanie Abronson and her dam, Circle of Stars, was her foundation half-Welsh chestnut mare (sired by Foxhollow Singing Star, Sec. A Welsh, out of Cygnet, an Anglo-Arab). |

White Star
of Summit
1985 Reg. Polish/Crabbet Arabian mare, 14.3H. Star is a great trail horse and has been a exceptional producer in the past. Her movement, carriage and temperament are what I am looking for in an Arab for crossing with Braveheart. She is closing in on 20 years old so we do not know if she will be having more foals. Hopefully, she will and I can have another foal like Jewel. Otherwise, she is wonderful to have around for those people that want to ride & are too big for my ponies-if you can imagine that!
